All Ask Montana users remain anonymous unless they choose to provide an e-mail address.

Login Information

Name

Ask Montana requires only a first name or alias. This assists the librarian in communicating with the user.

City/State

Users are asked to identify their city and/or state. This information is used for statistical purposes and to help the librarian in finding local resources for the user, if applicable. This is optional.

E-mail (Optional)

If you would like a session transcript automatically e-mailed to you, please provide your e-mail address at the beginning or end of the session. Your e-mail will only be used to automatically send the transcript.

Login information and any communication contained in the session will be used only by Ask Montana staff and will not be shared with any other entity unless required for safety or legal reasons. Ask Montana collects information about transactions for quality assurance and statistical purposes.
